Helping GSPCA with seal launch

Monday, June 09, 2014

The GSPCA had been looking after two stray baby seals over the winter and, having reached the point where they were able to fend for themselves, it was time to put them back into the sea.

Bumblebee, who had already rescued a dying seal in November 2012, was asked to transport the seals to Jethou, a task we were very happy to undertake without charge.

The two seals, named Trinity and Eden, were carried over to Jethou on Bumblebee and relaunched from the beach there.

You can see the whole story on this video by Adrian Miller and the Guernsey Press.
